It’s in the most unexpected of places. We spend so much of our time looking straight ahead or down…looking at people, the sidewalk - for something, or at nothing at all.

Three Turtles and a Frog
If you ever go to Nick & Johnnie’s, have the steak or tuna appetizer, of course. And as you walk in, take a look up and to the left. I don’t know where these creatures are going, but they seem happy enough that you’d like to tag along for a while. Whatever they’ve got going on, count me in. They look like they’ve had a good meal and are really enjoying the day!

Thank you, Mr. Horowitz
There is a drinking fountain where the bike trail winds up in Poinciana Park. You’ll find a bench there, along with a great view of the intracoastal waterway. If you’ve a dog, there’s even a ground level fountain for them, too. But what’s most refreshing about the place is the plaque over the fountain. I’ve always found a lot of inspiration attached to or carved into the sides of structures and this is no exception. As a way of life, it works pretty well for me and if I’m ever a little bit down, I like to ride my bike there and get a drink from the fountain - the cold water quenches my thirst, the words satisfy my soul.
